The Kingdoms of Valdorn

Population: Over 17 billion
Territory: The Great Continent of Valdorn
Allegiance: Allied with the Aurelian Kingdom

The Kingdoms of Valdorn occupy one of the largest inhabited continents in the known realm, an immense landmass home to more than seventeen billion people and countless generations of human civilization.

Across its extraordinary expanse lie hundreds of kingdoms, ancient empires, independent principalities and powerful royal dynasties. Great stone castles crown mountain peaks, magnificent walled cities stretch across fertile valleys, and enormous forests conceal forgotten temples, enchanted ruins and civilizations older than recorded history.

Valdorn is a land of extraordinary geographical diversity. Vast grasslands extend beyond the horizon, great rivers wind through kingdoms larger than entire nations elsewhere, and towering mountain ranges separate cultures that have developed independently for thousands of years. Beyond the central heartlands lie frozen northern territories, sun-drenched coastal kingdoms, ancient woodlands, sprawling deserts and distant island realms.

Magic exists throughout Valdorn in countless forms. Wizards study within ancient academies, sorcerers command elemental forces, druids safeguard sacred forests, and royal enchanters forge weapons and artifacts passed down through generations. Yet magic is neither universal nor necessary for greatness. Most Valdornians are ordinary humans whose civilizations have flourished through knowledge, craftsmanship, agriculture, commerce and determination.

The continent has no single monarch. Its many kings and queens govern their own territories, commanding vast armies of knights, cavalry, infantry, archers, siege engineers and naval fleets. Alliances between kingdoms have endured for centuries, while rivalries, succession disputes and territorial conflicts continue to shape Valdorn's political landscape.

Despite its divisions, Valdorn possesses extraordinary collective strength. Its immense population, prosperous cities, agricultural heartlands and extensive military traditions allow its kingdoms to raise armies on a scale few other civilizations could sustain.

Valdorn maintains a longstanding alliance with the Aurelian Kingdom. Although its people do not possess the Seven Arcs, its great kingdoms stand among Aurelia's most important allies, connected through diplomacy, trade, mutual defense and centuries of shared history.

Valdorn is a continent of countless crowns, ancient magic, legendary knights and kingdoms whose borders stretch farther than most travellers will ever journey. Across its immense lands, entire histories unfold beneath banners that have flown for thousands of years.

The Blood Legion War

For centuries, the Kingdoms of Valdorn have stood among the greatest powers resisting the Blood Legion's expansion across the known realm. As Crimson armies conquered distant nations, overthrew ancient dynasties and absorbed entire civilizations into their growing empire, the kingdoms of Valdorn became one of the principal barriers to their advance.

The war has spread across vast frontiers, where enormous armies clash beneath royal banners and Crimson warships descend upon fortified cities. Generations of Valdornian soldiers have fought against corrupted dragons, Veinbreakers and the countless warriors empowered by the Eighth Arc. Entire kingdoms have mobilized to defend their borders, while others have suffered devastating losses in campaigns lasting decades.

Despite their differences, Valdorn's kings and queens have repeatedly united against the common enemy. Alongside their Aurelian allies, they continue to resist the Blood Legion's ambitions, defending not only their own continent but the independence of kingdoms throughout the realm.

For Valdorn, the Blood Legion War is more than a struggle for territory. It is a centuries-long fight to prevent the fall of its kingdoms and the countless lives and civilizations they protect.
